PLEXUS ROUGE
Plexus Rouge, is an event that marries the pursuit of artistic excellence with cultural transmission and citizens’ emancipation.
This event was born between two confinements, heir to Préavis de Désordre Urbain (13 editions), a festival rooted in the social and urban context, a driving force for avant-garde creation and citizens’ emancipation.
The legacy of this festival has left Plexus Rouge with a strong taste for social and civic engagement, and for the creation of performances which breaks codes and taboos, bringing out the poetry of ordinary life.
Born at a time of worldwide crises that are deepening social inequalities, threatening our democracies and fuelling individualism and inward-looking attitudes, Plexus Rouge focuses on sharing practices of guest artists with the general public, an exchange through which they create meaning and social connections, reclaiming their daily lives, reshaping their communities and imagining alternative worlds.
